Where Art, Engineering, and Anatomy Converge
If a picture is worth a thousand words, our models are worth a million.
We create the moment when everything clicks. Through custom anatomical models, our designs capture exactly what makes your device remarkable—allowing physicians to discover its advantages through interaction rather than explanation. Every element is purposefully crafted to highlight your technology’s unique clinical value, transforming clinical uncertainty into confident understanding in just moments of hands-on exploration.

Allison Rae, Founder & Chief Creative Officer
I count myself among the fortunate few who’ve found their true calling. My unusual career path—blending 20 years in sales with toy design expertise, an industrial design education from Rhode Island School of Design, and a lifelong fascination with anatomy—created the perfect storm of skills for developing medical demonstration models.
At Pulse, I get to apply my product development experience, prototyping skills, and manufacturing knowledge to bring medical innovations to life through touch. My years designing objects that invite intuitive play and discovery translate perfectly to creating models that clinicians can interact with and understand immediately. There’s nothing quite like that breakthrough moment when we discover the perfect design solution that transforms how clinicians understand a device or procedure.
Beyond the professional stuff: I’ve earned my first-degree black belt in martial arts and have an affinity for beavers—nature’s designers who masterfully combine structural engineering with resource management. Until I develop similar dam-building skills, I live with two enthusiastically vocal dogs who believe barking during important calls is their professional responsibility.
